L24E Wont Rev Over 2.5-3

hi all only new on here, and mostly new to r30 skylines.

hope i am posting this in the rite place.

i have two r30's, one im building into a drift car.. and the other is going to be my street car

the motor is a l24e (2.4 injected) the car was running well, reving well.. cause it was going for a rwc.. degreased the motor and washed it off

then went to drive it around the block.. since then will not rev over 2.5-3 ( sounds like a rev limiter) the car below 2.5-3 runs perfect, dose not miss or have any problems.

there was a little water in the dizzy cap.. dryed it out.. still the same...

mate thort mite be fuel pump?

any one had this before? or any help would be thank full

ended up pulling the back off the air flow meter... didnt see any thing wrong.. put it back in the car.. works fine.. and car now runs normal again..hope it just keep running well from now on..
