Couple Of Questions

I am rebuilding my R33 GTR gearbox and wanting to replace a couple of parts.

I am finding it hard to find a part number on the net for the clutch pivot ball, I am thinking this is only required for the R32 GTR gearbox??

Is it worthwhile upgrading my clutch slave cylinder to the Nismo item? or is the standard GTR one good enough if it isnt leaking?

Also thinking about upgrading the clutch hose to the Nismo braided clutch line, is this also worth it?

Unique Auto Sports make a braided line which goes from the clutch master to the slave . . .

Anything else that I should look into while the box is out of the car?

Personally i would only do the pivot ball espcially if running a heavy clutch but the slave and braided line i dont really see the point if the current one is fine.

is there a solid pivot ball for the R33 GTR gearbox? I can only find one for the R32 GTR

There should be, have a look inside your bellhousing at the pivot ball, it should have a large hexagonal body on it, unline the earlier short bodied pivot balls in the 32 rb20's

Ask just jap or kudosmorordports theyll know since they sell them or check on the nissan fast drawing to see if its the long type or short.

I just called up Just Jap, there is no pivot ball in the R33 GTR gearbox, so that eliminates that.

Is there much point getting the braided clutch line and Nismo slave?

I have a Twin Plate OS Giken Clutch . . .

Thats right forgot that the gtr are pull type and not push.
