The only hotel in the area is the Quality Hotel at Woden... you could walk to Hogs Breath. But it doesn't seem to be particularly cheap...

So how far to the city from the burbs? I need a place to stay too. How's security at these places, ok to leave the GTR out overnight?

Not far... about 15mins to the City from Woden.

You'll be fine to park at Hogs Breath, hotel parking will depend on the hotel I guess - you'll probably be able to park where you can see it from your room at some. Either way I haven't heard of anyone's cars being stolen or it being any real risk to park at the hotels here.

Hotel realm is only 10 mins away from the city and is really only 10-15mins away from where the dinner is as well. They also make really good cocktails at Ostani bar
