I drove a skyline today that had 220 RWKW and microtec L12 ( i think). But when it was cold it would constantly stall if you did not rev it. I was told it was because the aftermarket plenum was a lot bigger.

Can the automatic choke be altered within the microtec to solve this problem? Or is there another way to fix this problem?

Thanks

microtecs are reknowned for having a poor cold start

just gonna have to cope with it , a little bit of fiddling and u will get it better though.

i have numerous mates with microtecs in their vl's , all of which suck on cold starts , i have an autronic and its wonderfull.

bare with it though

they are supposed to be the ducks nuts so i hope that everything goes well for ya.

it also depends on who sets up the computer , how much fuel is goin in on cold etc

anyway good luck mate

hehe yeah ive got someone pretty reliable to set it up n tune it - for free :(

then hes gonna show me how to tune it so i dont have to go bak to him to retune it or make a ton of maps

the microtech was pretty cheap too :D - trade prices $$
