Hey guys,

My skyline is due to run out of rego next month and there is a slight problem as i cant drive it until april next year and was thinking to leave it without rego untill i can drive it but i have been told that i will have problems getting it passed through rego.

Getting a blue slip is no problem but iv been told i have to take the car over the pits and that i will have a hard time getting it registered again.

I can get a blue slip for sure because the car is basically immac but im not 2 sure if i have to go through pits and was wondering if anyone has a clue if i do and if i will pass the pits.

My cars got a exhaust and power fc other then that its basically standard.

Another option is to hold it off for 3 months untill i need to get a blue slip and get it right before needing a blue slip.

That wont work, they back date the date so if you get a pink slip on the last day (eg 3 months from expiry), you'll only have 9 months of rego left after you pay at the RTA. Make sense?

Easiest is just to leave it registered the whole time.

For rego questions I find its best to go direct to the person who will pass or fail and ask them. I use Greg at Autosport for stuff like that, he's about 20 mins from you or so, stacks of skyline experience.
