As part of our track testing and development of GTR parts at Willall Racing one thing we have done is overpowered the standard braking system. In 12,000 miles we have exhausted 5 sets of brake rotors and around 15 sets of brake pads, and in the middle developed a water cooling system - WR35WS - which has helped us and many others around the world keep a longer and stronger pedal and nearly double pad life. The problem being - the faster you go and the better tyre you have, the more brake you need....

We chose the Endless braking system for R35 for a couple of reasons. Firstly we needed a stiffer and stronger caliper. We were losing 30% of pad life at least with the taper - in both axis - in pad wear with the standard caliper. Secondly Endless offer a bigger rotor, titanium piston, and super thick (double the thickness of stock GTR) brake pads. Its part of their Super Taikyu endurance program, so lets get them on....

This weekend we are testing at the track. We have an existing benchmark with the stock braking system on AP J-Hooks/stock calipers, we are using the same Advan 20 inch slick tyre set, and the weather conditions look to be similar. Yes we have developed a WR35WS water injection setup for these bad boys as well. In my experience on the matter, nothing suits a race track better than a race brake...and I cant wait to put this Endless Mono-6 setup to the test and see how it stacks up against the Brembo competition setup on our Porsche GT Car

wow, massive number of vanes in those rotors! I'm guessing they pump a fair bit of air.

the calipers looks nice and very 'reminiscent' of alcon and the current generation brembos... even the font is very brembo...

yeah nothing adds confidence like brakes that perform stop after stop.

84 vane rotors.

Combined with our water injection system they should be the business :)

(I have always loved Endless gear, it just works so well)

New Endless Mono-6 system was awesome at EC :)

As for the water? It turns to steam before it really even contacts the rotor so there is no evidence it has even been there apart from a very cool rim (or at least not red-hot) when the car comes back into the pits....

Will check on the piston area with Endless.

Hello Martin. Is this the same as the kit developed for the HKS R35 GTR? Looks very similar. Also didn't I read somehwere you had already done a ceramic brake upgrade instead?

Cheers

Marty

If you have the OEM Brembo calipers there that is piston area I would like to know... thanks Martin.

Good to hear they worked well :)
