sorry, i take that back, shouldn't really be bagging out people who i don't know yet.

but hey, that's what this thread is all about; allowing me to know more of you guys so i can!

its alright michael.

these raging poofs are just jelly of my wheel

R31Nismoid,

Btw you don't live near smith st do you? I think I've seen an R33 GTR there once or twice over the course of 4 years.

I do, but I'd be fairly certain it wouldn't be mine. I don't park it on the street as I have secure parking.

Plus I see at least 10 other skylines regularly, let alone those passing through :)

You get lost on cruises FOLLOWING the car infront...

There is no aeroplane jelly here, least of all of a black car with blue wheels :yuk:

Like that double slap momo poos?

Mm89 keep an eye out in november, thats when I get my license back and il be organising alot of apple peel meets like I used to before I lost it.

Used to get great turn outs and a huge varity of skylines with a good bunch of people.

hahahaha post of the day

Welcome Michael, I'm in the north so might see you around

Hey Ric,

I see a few 33 gts-t's around mill park, a silver one which I always see driving past when I'm having a smoke out the front. Keep thinking it's my friend cos he has a silver s2 as well. I also see this clean white one in bundoora too. What suburb do you live in?

Since there's a few people who are aware of this thread, I might take this opportunity to ask whether people are comfortable with having a small tea party(coffee somewhere) on week nights. I find week nights to be better for less police attention, not that we should be doing anything that attracts it anyway, but in reality, skylines (once again, not ruling out the other cars :P) can be more of a common target for cops regardless. Preferably small numbers so it doesn't get to the point where everybody is just talking to their own mates. 10 people give or take work well.

I have a few places in mind and am open to suggestions

1) Garage cafe - closes early though

2) Doncaster pancake parlor

3) Brunetti's lygon st.

4) stuzzi's in northcote.

My suggestions are based on parking being within close proximity so everyone can have a peace of mind.

Cheers

Michael

lol i would hate to admit it but when we pulled over on the side of the road, i had to piss sooooooo bad. so go around the corner and unleash a torrent on someones fence. then i hear the sound of multiple RB's starting up and pulling away. i sprint as hard as i can and get back to the car and speed off using the sound of the others as a guide, i catch up and am following leigh. leigh pulls over. i stop to check if hes alright, thus losing the others. ended up finding alex and some of the others that were also lost lol

my suggestion.

Is to go drive a few 32Rs and then you will officially want one. I used to have one, and living in the north, without secure parking means well, my car went missing about a month after i moved here. I really should have continued staying in the east, but hindsight is always 20/20.

i'm getting a soarer on saturday, so cant help you with the test ride. but i'm always keen to meet new people..

Ahh fair enough. I can swear on a left one that I've seen a 33gtr driving past me when I left work once. I couldn't tell if it was black or MP cos it was getting dark when I clocked off.

But yeah, I'm sure you've seen that grey evo 8mr around too. Looks gorgeous but still a cheater's car :P

Funny you say you see many skylines roaming around that area; I must be coming out at the wrong times!

    • I like it when the counter chick leads you out the back into the racks and says "have a grub around in here and see if you can find what you need. I'll be back in a few minutes. Just left me in front of a massive motorised shelving system and 2-3 million fasteners, so I could find a peculiar SS shoulder bolt with cap head. Gotta love country towns.
    • I used this https://osgiken.com.au/product/os-giken-os-250r-lsd-gear-oil-80w250-1-litre/   shut my nismo 1.5 pro up by heaps…. Not silent though. Gives the car character and personality. It ain’t a carolla. If you want silent, put a quaife in it.
    • It's about the same time for me from Bunnings, or the Fasteners. My big push away from takeaway food, and gluten in general keeps me away from the Bunnings Snags too! Weather up here, I've been out for two walks today in the beautiful sunshine. Had a few little drizzles, and some wind, that honestly, a tin of beans and I could compete on how harsh she blows Thankfully, being this bit inland, we're not getting anything much really. Will probably pick up a bit more when/if Cyclone Alfie decides to come ashore. A few areas in the GC though, and south into NSW are really getting smashed though! Right now, I'm just annoyed Alfie hasn't hit, as I'm not allowed to crack into the BBQ foods like the bacon and eggs until the Cyclone hits "In case we lose power"...
    • I love fastener joints, the price difference between them and joints like Bunnings or Super Cheap is amazing, and they either have exactly what you want, or they can get it to quick They have even given me some for free when I only needed a couple of specific size In saying this, I have paid premium for fasteners from Bunnings if they have the sizes I need, but only for convenience really, as my local is only 10 minutes away, the Sushi joint near them is also a consideration  How's the weather Matt? Stay safe mate
    • Wideband is worth setting up if only for tuning purposes. I would not mess with the ignition system unless there's a misfire. HKS crank trigger is popular out here for the relatively easily sourced Denso crank sensor, not a bad idea to install as well regardless of power level on a standalone. Boost leak test is worth thinking about. Oil pressure sensor tied to a fuel cut isn't a bad idea either. Getting the tune figured out is a good idea. Without putting eyes on it and getting under it there's no way for us to tell you exactly what it needs but most likely you're down to the last 10% that will make a big, big difference in how happy you are with the car.
