Hey all, trying to wire an aftermarket door lock actuator to my standard central locking.

My r32 4 door has key style central locking.. Lock or unlock the front door with a key it opens the other doors!

I found the door lock timer in the drivers side kick panel but can't figure out what to splice it to? I wNt to splice it to say the passenger side so the drivers door will lock with

Y remote imobilisor?

Hi

Not sure why you would want to wire an actuator in to the factory system.

When fitting an immobiliser/alarm we normally just fit an actuator to the drivers door and have the new alarm drive it.

This will then open all the doors for you.

I hope this helps

OR use the timer to drive that new actuator (saves two relays in some cases.). simon is right though. if the unit that you are using will DIRECTLY drive an actuator then don't touch the timer unit.

I'm not sure if it does or it just uses the factory timer. It's an autowatch alarm system? I would like to use the factory timer I just can't work out the wiring?
