Anyone In Port Macquarie Or Newcastle Area?

Interested to know if there's much going on in and around Port and Newcastle Motorsport wise. What's your nearest track? Eastern Creek? Is there any Rally etc?

There's a pretty good kart track in newcastle, and hire kart tracks in maitland and broadmedow. Not sure of rally's, I do hear of them every now and then in king edward park and the carpark of the knights stadium

they are a few hill climbs around those areas.

king edward park as mentioned, then there is the MG Newcastle car club one at Raymond terrace,

Bulladealah (sp?) hillclimb

I think there is even one in Taree?

ralleigh raceway in Coffs which is for karts and drifting

Hmm so a bit of hill climbing and some drift at the local Kart track.

Where do people practice for hillclimbs legally?

nowhere really

the last hill climb I did was Bathurst - mountain straight.

no room for error!

got 5 runs in, so the first 2 runs were quite slow but eventually got quicker.

just do a mountain drive but at speed limits

you thinking of moving up?
