dude, sway bars WERE the best and cheapest suspension upgrade i ever did to my 30. bar getting adjustable castor.

upgrade, daily or not. its worth it.

i got both front and rear from whiteline 24mm and 22mm. came with everyting to fit and was around $300 i think. doo it.

fyi, that image looks like the rear bar i got.

Curios as to what are your full suspension specs are man? Is it setup more for drift or time attack? Rego'd?

Cars basically set up 4 drift. But if I do ne grip work I don't change ne thing. Pretty much rear subframe is solid mounted and raised 20mm.eccentric a arm bushs and urethane moustache mounts sway bars. S13 fend with knuckles and teins and 33 rack with spacers. Sw castor arms 8kg f and10kg r springs.fairly basic setup but its enough the thing loves to skid. And yea still regod id drive it to and from events lol

8kg Front and 10kg rears??

Hmm I have whiteline swaybars, 8kg fronts, was going to go 6kg rears but now you have me thinking I could go 7kg.. Should post some vids. I love seeing DR30's skidding.

8kg fronts are TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HARD for Australian roads!

What are you guys all thinking ....................................... ???

Springs simply hold the body up and as usual your looking at the wrong thing.

Factory standard fronts are 1.93kg & rears 2.23kg.

Tell me just one thing ................. WHAT are you going to do when your blazing into a corner at 70 or 80kph and the approach is a bit rough or rippley???

Dennis,

I think you will find that some cars in here are being used for different types of driving.

plus you shouldnt be driving hard on public roads :P

Wouldn't matter what sort of driving your doing unless the ONLY plans are up and down motorways and freeways 8kg front springs are to hard.

As your in Vic, put in 8kg fronts in your DR and go for a quick spin down the great ocean road and see what happens. I can tell you now as I have done it in the V8 Toyotus 400GT, your DR will come back bent because to stop, your wheels first have to be on the ground.
