250rwkw is one thing, but how much boost do you intend to use to make that power? I'd suggest at least 7 heat range for 250rwkw power levels.

I've used many different plugs over the 4yrs I've been playing with my RB25DET. BCPR6ES & 7ES's are good at moderate boost levels, but I found them to be below par once I started running above 1.2-1.3bar.

I have never had a single drama using BKR7EVX or BKR8EVX. I've run up to 25psi, near on 300rwkw, plenty of drag strip passes and well over 12mths use from the same set. At ~16ea they're more expensive than $4 BCP coppers, but I've never had a set of copper last more than 500km's without suffering from misfires under the above conditions.

I run a 0.8mm gap with the BKR's

Indexing the plugs basically means aligning all 6 spark plug ground electrode gaps so that they face the in/ex valves (apparently facing the exhaust valve is preferable). This is supposed to increase power because the ground electrode is then oriented so as not to 'shield' the spark from the incoming fuel/air charge.
