Hey guys as per the title looking for a nice place to stay for a night up in the Blue Mountains.

Anyone got any hot tips?

Nothing too over the top maybe max $300 per night.

Old Classic:- Clarendon Hotel in Katoomba - Town Centre

Spectacular Views:- Lilianfels Blue Mtns Resort in Katoomba - Cliffside 02-47801200 (strongly recommended)

Nouveau Riche:- Chez Terry where your wife (according to the title "Nice Place To Take The Mrs") can be pampered to her heart's content.

However, you can stay outside and keep the dog warm.

I think we are settled on Echoes - their view of the Jamieson valley too hard to pass up!!

Echoes is just a stone's throw from Lilianfels.

Views are just as spectacular as Lilianfels if not better. Not as luxurious but I've never heard a bad report.

Some of the best walks are nearby. + Walks at end of Govett's Leap Rd Blackheath + National Pass Walk at Wentworth Falls (-my favourite)

Mountain bike ride out to Narrow Neck Lookout (via bike hire) is spectacular

Narrowneck Bike Rides etc (esp. fathippy site) > views are so spectacular.

Once you get past the fire tower, there's only 15mins left to the lookout which gives you 270 degree views!
