Said he who hasn't had the turbo blow on the M35 yet. :action-smiley-069:

Brad.. your supposed to be on my side buddy :) and i wasnt meaning the drivers i meant the motors, transmissions etc etc..

Truth is at least one of the drivers is old but...seriously OLD :rofl2: Nah all good, I reckon the 34's can hold their own !

We are gunna have a track day soon to prove it....happy to bring a tow rope that day.lol

"the old fella"

ill come to a track day no probs but i wont be on the track in my boat its just a family/dog car but that would be a good day in the park. i just wanted to stir the pot good to see i got a response.

cant wait for this cruise see what adelaide has to offer.

Yes, we Legnum drivers are keen.

Quick question though, as we are a VR4 forum, with a fair portion of Galant sedans too - are these welcome? or do you like to keep your cruises strictly wagon only? (presume the usual skylines aren't overly abundant in numbers on your cruises)

We like to keep it wagons only, when skylines get involved, it turns into just another car cruise.

Just a thought... I have a mate with a Subaru Liberty GT wagon, could we extend the invitation to these cars?

And then invite the volvos. :whistling:

Im out for the 25th its my daughters bday that day and I will be on the dawn cruise the weekend B4.

Have fun see you next 1

What about if we just stick with the Legnums for now, and see how it goes? If we start to invite everyone it looses some of the effect...

On one hand, I really like the concept of growing the group to all import wagons & on the other hand I like the stagea exclusivity

...silly old bugga aren't I (having an each way bet)...trying the Legnums to see how the group "pans out" is a great place to start (I think)

...having Stagea only cruises....with the occasional mixed cruise, sits well with me but happy to fit in with the majority.

PS...can't wait to get our stag back from the "ding/bling shop"

The "big Fella" & I have been talking about a charity Slavo Xmas toy run...us OLD folks run one each yr that attracts

100-150 cars...we were thinking of the Stagea group (a Sthn & Nthn collection) making it their cruise but inviting all

the others..that is only 3 months away....we could have 1 or 2 more Stag cruises then an all in...led by a line of stagea

...just discussion at the moment. It's unreal to see the group growing so fast..

alright, lets get this sorted. This is a stagea cruise, as per previous cruises it is for Stageas, wehave extended the invitation to the Legnums crew, because they are like us, an organised group of enthusiasts.

It adds some variety(but not much) and a bit of friendly rivalvry between the 2 models.

If we invite every single wagon/van/hatch element, we end up looking like an afternoon in front of the local primary school.

there is plenty of opportunities for other cars to go on cruises, ie JAF cruise, Ben Simpson memorial and the previously mentioned Christmas charity run.

100% agreed upon lets keep simple and tight

bigkevracer NM35 Stagea 161.2AWKW

Dunc NM35 Stagea 176.8AWKW

Ruby C34 Stagea 232.0RWKW

Seems to me like the M35s are a little underpowered  This list is from yesterday's dyno day for SAU-SA. My Stag previously made 252.8rwkw on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. Yesterday's dyno day was on a Mainline.

On a serious note, SAU-SA club is going to have another track day in the coming months. Would like to see a few Stageas out there ... I'll be there to better my 1m29s now I have 70kw more and bigger brakes. Track day list is open to club members first then extended to non-members. When the clutch drops, the bullshit stops :P
