Hotwire
Yes, we Legnum drivers are keen. Quick question though, as we are a VR4 forum, with a fair portion of Galant sedans too - are these welcome? or do you like to keep your cruises strictly wagon only? (presume the usual skylines aren't overly abundant in numbers on your cruises) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/372651-sa-september-stagea-cruise/page/4/#findComment-5963941 Share on other sites
Big Fella
We like to keep it wagons only, when skylines get involved, it turns into just another car cruise. Marshstag
We like to keep it wagons only, when skylines get involved, it turns into just another car cruise. Just a thought... I have a mate with a Subaru Liberty GT wagon, could we extend the invitation to these cars? SatchiThaStagea
Is this just an import wagon cruise or can my mate in his outback join? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/372651-sa-september-stagea-cruise/page/4/#findComment-5964323 Share on other sites
bigkevracer
What about if we just stick with the Legnums for now, and see how it goes? If we start to invite everyone it looses some of the effect... OLDS
What about if we just stick with the Legnums for now, and see how it goes? If we start to invite everyone it looses some of the effect... On one hand, I really like the concept of growing the group to all import wagons & on the other hand I like the stagea exclusivity ...silly old bugga aren't I (having an each way bet)...trying the Legnums to see how the group "pans out" is a great place to start (I think) ...having Stagea only cruises....with the occasional mixed cruise, sits well with me but happy to fit in with the majority. "the old fella" PS...can't wait to get our stag back from the "ding/bling shop" Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/372651-sa-september-stagea-cruise/page/4/#findComment-5964461 Share on other sites
slippylotion
What about people with an Elgrand? They would be limited in numbers to have their own cruises and sort of still fit the bill to join ours. OLDS
The "big Fella" & I have been talking about a charity Slavo Xmas toy run...us OLD folks run one each yr that attracts 100-150 cars...we were thinking of the Stagea group (a Sthn & Nthn collection) making it their cruise but inviting all the others..that is only 3 months away....we could have 1 or 2 more Stag cruises then an all in...led by a line of stagea ...just discussion at the moment. It's unreal to see the group growing so fast.. Big Fella
alright, lets get this sorted. This is a stagea cruise, as per previous cruises it is for Stageas, wehave extended the invitation to the Legnums crew, because they are like us, an organised group of enthusiasts. It adds some variety(but not much) and a bit of friendly rivalvry between the 2 models. If we invite every single wagon/van/hatch element, we end up looking like an afternoon in front of the local primary school. there is plenty of opportunities for other cars to go on cruises, ie JAF cruise, Ben Simpson memorial and the previously mentioned Christmas charity run. My Stag previously made 252.8rwkw on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. Yesterday's dyno day was on a Mainline. On a serious note, SAU-SA club is going to have another track day in the coming months. Would like to see a few Stageas out there ... I'll be there to better my 1m29s now I have 70kw more and bigger brakes. Track day list is open to club members first then extended to non-members.
