leaking from shock after lowering

hey all hoping someone could help me with a little problem.

lowered my R33 gts skylint today put king sprin lows on it

did it over a mates place all way well but when got home came back out get something saw fluid leaking from the shock spring area spelt like break fluid but hard to tell. only on the back of the car little on the left and a fair bit on the right. would anyone know what may have gone wrong or what is going on
