Setting up for responsiveness

Ok, I've decided which way I'm planning on going with my R33 GTST. I'm not really aiming for a quick quarter mile time, nor am I after a specific power level. What I want is something responsive, torquey and have power on tap the second I need it. So maybe stick with the standard turbo or just an internal upgrade. I'm on a fairly modest budget. At most about $3500. So any advice on what to do with it?

Currently have a 3 inch exuast from the dump pipe back and a high flow cat. Pod filter, modified stock bov, and boost set on 10.5 psi.

the above.. and when you get the money HKS 2530 is meant to spool up really low.. peaks out a bit early but nice midrange will give you all you need on the street.

maybe a R34-GTT cooler as a replacement as well.

Thats a good point too.. choose your intercooler and piping careful. If you go too large will just get increased lag. Most people have intercoolers on their car much too big for their requirements.

Yeah, what are those little ARC intercoolers like? The ones that bolt up in place of the standard cooler?
