I agree, like you can actually see what the jets are doing etc.

And it looks as though the max draw distance is a lot better than bf2. In bf2 you got hit by jets you couldnt see no matter what graphics settings you had :P

So does MW3 have dedicated servers? If not, I'll seriously be considering buying it on Xbox, and saving BF3 for the PC.

Most of my mates seem to buy it on console anyways.

Yeah it will

Robert Bowling, the Infinity Ward creative strategist for MW3, made this twit yesterday https://twitter.com/...858062640693248

Also says it on Wikipedia so it must be true

Turns out MW3 has smashed pre-order sales over Black-Ops. I'm not sure how Battlefield 3 sales are going. Someone will have to inform me.

Depite this, screw all you guys - I'm going MW3.

Battlefield 3 looks awesome, but my PC is in need for a Motherboard/CPU/RAM upgrade which I'm not willing to do for one game. Console version will run like shiiit. Plus, I couldn't give a fk about "realism". I like the arcade style MP.

FLAME ON !!!

BF3 is so worth upgrading for

I have played every cod and every battlefield game on pc and cod hasn't changed much at all and while it can be fun I get bored of it quickly

but with all the battlefield games because the size and varity of kits and vehicals even 2 rounds with the same people are very different in how the round its played and has that replayability And battlefild games over the years I would of put in well over 5000 hours and can keep going back for more and as with cod I jump on with clan mates and after 30mins I'm over it

The only reason MW3 has smashed pre-sale records is because of the continuing storyline from MW2. I'll give MW3 that - the storyline is fuarking epic and im still buying MW3.

But for realism and graphics, BF3 will SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT all over it.

    • Hey guys, Just thought it might be of interest to owners of the RB25 det NEO motor, that awesomeness Nitto are in the late process to produce an engine gasket kit by end of Jan 25.  I think obviously there will be an 25det kit too. cheers, Ian

    • Bumping this thread yet again, has anyone ever tried putting yet another vacuum regulating valve on the hose that goes between the turbo inlet? Something local owners have mentioned is the Radium breather pipes de-restrict the valve cover but it actually produces an undesirable outcome in practice, way too much air is sucked out of the crankcase and a ton of oil comes with it as well. As far as I can tell the PCV diaphragm in these modern euro wet sump performance engines is active during boost as well, there's just a check valve to block boost from entering the valve cover and crankcase as there's no inherent check valve function in these diaphragm-type valves. Hopefully I'll be able to try some of this out soon. The Volvo XC90 4.4 V8 has a nice external version of these things.
