Hey all

This weekend I will be servicing my GTR. Only owned it for a week but will do this for piece of mind and see if I can bump my fuel consumption up.

So far I have this planned

Engine oil - Royal purple 10w40

Gearbox oil - between Castrol Syntrans 75w85 or Penrite 75w with Nulon G70 additive

Spark plugs. Dont know which ones, copper plugs I think, no iridium for me.

Clean AMF with brake cleaner And check airfilter.

Then wash and wax that baby.

Anything else which would be easy that you guys can recommend. Or maybe just recommend me either a gearbox oil or a spark plug?

Cheers guys And stay posted, I will be updating this on completion and tell you how she runs.

Well here she is as well :).

Id suggest, fuel filter and radiator fluid aswell, and maybe even a engine oil flush, help clear sludge if there is any.

My secret to first ever oil change on your new car would be to drain oil after a flush is done, then fill with any normal cheapo oil (same grade if you can) take it for a quick spin up and down the street then drain it again and then change filter and oil, its a way i like to know that all the shity oil is completely out and your turbo oil lines are also refreshed with new oil. So next oil change will be a even better one :)

Thats my little suggestion.

Awsome gtr btw!

brake fluid is a good idea as well as clutch fluid.

Both extrememly easy to do, just need a helper to assist with bleeding.

If you really want to get into it, depending on condition, getting a rebuild kit for your callipers is not to expensive

Also agree with radiator flush. Not too expensive to get done properly.

Basically any fluid/filter you can do is a good idea, simply because you don't know the last time it was done.
