Jaycar Speedo Corrector Mkii - Stagea

Will be adding one of these kits soon but need to know where to wire it in and to which wires. Does anyone know. Will make this thread into a DIY as cant find the info I need and have not had replies to threads on the subject.

I asked Chook who had one installed years ago and he said it was a wire going into the speedo cluster but that was all. Two wires are just a power supply and an earth and the other two interrupt the spedo signal. I would be really happy if you can work out which wire that is as otherwise not being very good at electrics I willl have to go to my local RB guru who will work it out.

yeah I'm running one in my stagea, it works perfectly. adjustment was about 8% in my case for 245/45/17s.

I didn't keep a record of the hookup...but it was pretty simple. If you can post up a good pic of the back of the cluster I can pick it, or just follow the wires to the speedo....it is marked in english, something like "SPD"

so you guys aren't changing the input to the ecu then?

probably means that the car will speed cut at about 170 then

No speedcut on mine - I have a Link ecu. I need the speedo correcter to go with the 300km/hr speedo dials I have had printed.

Duncan is yours an S1 or S2? My dials are S1 type - only $30 incl postage!
