central locking

Hey,

Well I was working on my interior on the weekend and playing around with my doors, when i notced my central locking aint working anymore, does anyone know how I can fix this I am sure it would be pretty simple.

well weather i am inside and flick the drivers door lock to unlock the passenger side it passenger door will not unlock, and when locking the car from the outside of the drivers door the passenger door will not lock/unlock.

If yours is like mine, there's ONE factory solenoid that fires the passenger side when you do the buttons.

Mine has an aftermarket solenoid on the drivers side.

Unfortunately electrical gremlins are a pot luck thing.

A good sparky can find it in 15 mins (shorts?). But undoubtedly you'll get charged the whole hour.

Well i sussed it out, i am pretty dumb, my cars battery is so flat at the moment it will not power to central locking. thanks for the help thuogh

speaking of central locking, i got a query:

when u press the lock/unlock button from the driver's side, does it lock/unlock the passenger side only? I was under the impression that the central locking button does both doors and not just the passenger one? it is not my driver's side central locking unit as i got an alarm and all the doors lock/unlock by remote....

can anyone shed light on this query?
