FMIC for a weird front bar

Hey guys..

Looking to know if anyone has had a kit fitted to a skyline with a front bar like my one. I dont want to remove the lights, so it makes it a little awkward.

Also does anyone know what the deal with this front bar is, was it a factory option? I know it is definatly nissan OEM

its a standard mspec bar, but someone has put extra fog lights on the bottom. i have a fmic installed on the same bar with lights and all in. the inicators/fog lights did need modfying, but now fits nicely

the fog lights on the bottom you can get from nissan i beleive since i have seen them on more than 10 skylines around melbourne, one issue which i tell all owners with those lights is that it blocks alot of air from the stock intercooler and makes it a bloody heater..much more than with the lights out. Since your getting a FMIC the only option is i think to get a smaller one not know if its the best idea but in most cases i dont think the bottom lights will be able to stay My 2 Cents

Enrico.. What FMIC did you use. A custom one or a kit from greddy etc etc? Also do you remember what dimensions your front bar was?

ARE in Bris do a fmic to fit inbetween the fog/indicator lights in the stock series1 front bar. From memory the M type bar went straight on and they could fit the pipes to clear the extra lights....but....they are the best......and they are expensive.

hey dude its a gtr intercooler. I had to modify the front bar, then the lindicator/fog lights didnt fit, so i got the dremel out, and made the plastic casings alot smaller. They now fit beautifully

All that is needed is a respray of it

I think you're probably after one of the ARC types that wrap back under the car and not over the cam covers unless say a Greddy V-SPL.

In theory the whole centre section of the M-Spec bar should be hacked out and some air saw action to cut bacl as much as the bar should be ok.

Mine still needs a shitload hacked out the back so it fully clears all the FMIC and oil cooler piping.
