You can either turn the unit off by holding the mode button (if I remember correctly) or you can adjust the gain of SP1 (or SP2 or SP3, whichever suits you. SP1 is the default setting everytime you turn the car off and turn it back on) to 0

It should just turn on when you take your keys aout and put it back in. The settings should alls till be there, as when you turn it off, you only power it off, not erase the memory.

I've unplugged mine heaps of times and it still keeps my settings :)

Was this a reply to my question? Sorry mate theres no information about actually turning off the sound at start up. There is information about turning off alarms at revs and boost pressures. Good try mate and thanks for your help. If anyone else has anything constructive would be muchly appreciated.

    • Hey everyone, i have quite a few of these now and looking to sell my collection.    There’s many different brands and they all say something similar when powered up. if you would like an example of what they do and how they work i suggest searching JDM ETC READER into google or youtube.    I know some people dont like them but others want that final “JDM” piece for their project.  Below are a few examples of what i have.  feel free to contact me if you want more photos or have any questions. i also have a few that dont make noise but just light up to give the aesthetic.   $80 ea or will do a good discount if multiple are purchased. Located in South Australia and happy to post interstate if required! Thanks for your time!
    • I hope so.  It seems pretty nice. OEM feel the lot.
    • I wouldn't be surprised if this helps. And I wouldn't be surprised if it keeps changing for a bit after the new slave&hose go on, because I find that my clutch always does this sort of shenanigans after any serious dismantlery. And then it settles down after a few corrective tweaks such as you've already done.
    • Ist post I joined after seeing this thread  I have just installed on a r33gtst at first I liked it but I am finding the peddle free play changes …. To a point I have had a zero free play condition and the thrust bearing stayed engaged. I had to back off the adjustment on peddle.   I am about to change slave and fit a braided line to see if I can get a better result
