This is coming off battery clamp , what is it??

This is coming off my battery clamp and im not quite sure what it may be, I have tried removing only to find out that it started to mess with my electricals eg windows,blinkers , radio , instrument pannel also noticed that my car started to idle weird so i dare say it may even be playing up with my ecu ? I have seen them on some other R32. it wouldnt be to much of a problem but the wires seem a bit old and worn and rather then put new ones i thought removing it would be better.

I believe it's called a "fusible link". As you have found out, Nissan stuck it there for a reason.

If you are concerned about the condition of the wires, then you will need to replace the unit.

thanks guys , but as im no electrical expert where would i get a replacment , do i just bring in a sparky or do i source the part threw a parts place eg just jap?

sparky should be able to fix it up no worries... I doubt that you could buy that wiring unless you went scavenging through a wreckers yard

Any Nissan dealer, and therefore any of the import wreckers, should be able to obtain the real McCoy.
