I got around to cleaning my car and taking a couple of pics.

The rear muffler is the Nissan sport one with the switch on the dash. All week I had been trying to pick the difference and couldn't, I could here the electric motor when I flicked the switch but that was it. Turned out the butter fly was seized so that is all fixed now.

I also removed the front section of the air box just to see how it sounded.

When I took it for a drive after that with heavy braking for 100kph there is quite a bit of shuddering but im sure if I get the disks machined and new pads this should be ok. What also happened twice after flooring it to 100kph and then slowing to a stop was the engine stalled, Any ideas what could cause this?

Also dose anyone know what this is?

It sounds like the throttle body needs a clean if you are stalling, then a throttle learn procedure.

Save for some r32/r33 gtr front brakes, the stock ones are just too thin for such a heavy wagon, don't waste you money on trying to fix the single pot setup.

ETC toll device by the looks of it, bin time.

Thanks

Im not sure what the wheels are there just the ones that were on it. There not what I would go buy but they will do for now.

Ill have a look at the throttle body next weekend, I dont normally drive that way so not a real problem.

Ive been have a bit of a look around and looks like the skyline calipers will be the way to go, I dont need anything to special. Do they have to be the GTR ones, how hard are they to come across?

I was I initially going for r34 brakes but ended up with r33. Still a good cheap upgrade. I think these will be more than good enough for an m35 as 95% of them will only see street duty rather than the track.

$300 for a front brake upgrade is pretty good value to me!
