R32 Gtr Front Brakes

Picked up a pair of r32 rotors and calipers tonight. What issues will I have fitting them to my 01 m35 rx with stock 17 inch nissan m35 wheels.

Picked up a pair of r32 rotors and calipers tonight. What issues will I have fitting them to my 01 m35 rx with stock 17 inch nissan m35 wheels.

The main issues will include not being able to get the wheels back on the car.

You'll also find that the OEM caliper uses M14 mounting bolts; while the GTR caliper are M12 (nothing a tube spacer can't solve).

The disc offset is different and the caliper is MUCH wider.You may be able to get away with using spacers, but I'd guess you'd be needing 30mm at least but possibly more.

New wheels is what you'll really need.

I thought gtr brakes all had 14mm bolts :S

I have made quite a few up, it is just a tube, 14mm outer, 12mm inner and 20mm long.

What wheels would fit over these. Offsets I mean. I have 350z 6 spokes like ironpaws aswell. Would they work. All I know is they are 18 inch

They should, I have the v35 stock 5 spoke 17 inch wheels and they clear no problem.

Thanks scotty. Cant wait to get these brakes fitted. My very 1st proformance mod. Bout to pop my mod cherry. Hope this doesnt end up like my aristo.
