Stock headgasket will take more than 6-7 psi. Mines holding up to 17, making over 300kw and never had the head lifted.

17psi is impressive, what turbo?

Did you have to be very conservative with timing and add lots of fuel? Or are you running E85 or water/meth or something?

yeh i think it was a 10mm copper head gaskit, lol and yeh 7 would be fine :) hahaha you wouldnt beleive it but about an hour ago my drive shaft just shit its self so its going back to the workshop again... So wont have this turbo for a while but i've copied all the information you all have given me and printed it out so i reflect on things i have to do + keep an eye on, thank you all!!

There was a thread recently or some posts in a thread about stock headgaskets (30 section I think), I remember it because I run OEM RB26 headgaskets on my 30s and someone mentioned having an OEM RB26 headgasket handle ~50psi! I think they were running aftermarket head bolts though.
