As per the title: NSW's Attorney General has given his approval to the R18+ rating "in principle" so far.

"Few people would dispute the value of a classification system that helps keep adult material beyond the reach of children," Mr Smith said.

"With strong classification guidelines in place, an R18+ rating should result in violent games currently rated MA15+ in Australia being reclassified as adults-only, as they already are in many other countries. ''

Taking away MA15+ is a good idea as it will CLEARLY separate the Adult games with the non-adult games.

Keeping the MA15+ rating will still give the possibility of crossing over MA and R games. Much like movies, I still get confused as to why Saw is MA whilst Reservoir Dogz is R.

And for the under 18s, Screw 'em...

Yeah, being a good 9 years past that, I couldn't give a shit if anyone under 18 can't play the games I want. If it means less 12 year olds screaming in the mic when I play games, I'm all for it.

Hahah so true. +1
