Os Giken Cross Mission Gearbox

Hi guys,

I have an os giken cross mission gearbox (1st to 5th) in my gtr... Should I fit my C's Short Shift kit to this gearbox or not? I had 1 opinion from a good mate of mine who says its probably better that I run the standard throw shifter. I don't want to put more strain on the selector forks and other components than what is needed I guess, but then again this gearbox is built to be pushed.

What are the opinions out there and the pro's/con's? I had it on my standard box in my other gtr and the short shift felt sooo nice

mate ive got the same short shifter with my os box n have no problems at all with it, plenty of drag runs n quick shifts.

has done no damage after nearly a year

Yeah the c's kit is very nice and hard to let go of, u can't buy them anymore the last time I looked...did they go into receivership?
