have a r32 gtst rb20det idles very hi 2000rpm, have adjusted idle screw no change? what eles can cause this. i have 4 vacum lines that are caped off, were should they go? do any go to intercooler plumbing? can some pm me some pics or a diagram were vacum lines go on a rb20det, dont no were they should go??????????????

Check the cold start valve (sits right underneath the manifold) as these can jam and cause a high idle, otherwise throttle body not fully closing, air leaks etc.

haven't cleaned them before myself, usually just replace them as they aren't that expensive.

just FYI, adjusting the screw without putting it in base timing mode will do nothing. Not sure how you do this on the R32's as its different to the R33's, but i seem to remember something about unplugging the TPS
