I want to Marry John Penlington and have his babies.

How many workshop owners would come out at 8:30PM at night to open their shop so a tow truck driver and a pissed Skyline owner could dump a dead car there? NOT MANY!!

Thanks John, I appreciate it so much!!

Shameless plug : GO TO UAS!!!

Does having your tuner/workshop owner of choice tuning your car @ 11.30pm - 1am on a Friday night/Sat morning count? :D

Good to see John and the UAS crew looking after SAU members. Well done John!

    • Long time no see, I haven't posted since 14 years ago... To cut to the chase, R32 GTR. dead stock. Split wastegate hose = stock turbos were overboosting = front turbo's exhaust wheel has shattered. Have done a compression test following this and the results are (dry, cold) - 120 / 60 / 75 / 110 / 150 / 150. Haven't bothered with a wet test or leakdown test. The results definitely support front turbo failure (on 1-3) however the low compression on #4 is concerning too. Can anyone share their experience of when their turbine wheel shattered and damaged their motor - and what work needed to be done afterwards? Pistons? Rings? Valves? Throwing in the bin or salvageable? Motor is 100% stock. Will be getting it looked at further soon - I don't have a borescope and head hasn't come off (yet).
    • Depends how low and tyre size. Should fit with natural camber, skinny tyres and rolled guards.
    • Hi guys, planning to get 18x9 +25 in fronts and 18x10 +25 in rears been reading the whole thread and cant really find anything   Anyone know if these will fit a r34 gtt with no scrubbing or guard work needed?
    • They usually get made by hand as part of any such swap.
    • Was planning on getting an R35 MAF and the adapter, should this be okay? Also any idea where I could get my hands on an intake pipe?
