hey all looking to sell the GTR, ive owned it for a year and a half with no problems until it recently let go of the number two bearing, i cant be bothered rebuilding so its for sale.

Car needs either a new engine or engine rebuild as the number two bearing has started to go

its a 1993 R32 GTR with 125000k on the clock i bought it from an importer in wangara in march last year with 96000ks on it and drove it too and from work as well as weekend cruising 100000k has obviously been done, by nissan wangara.

paint: white

mods list:

suspension:

unbranded coilovers (have no idea what brand as theres no markings but were on the car when i bought it)

cusco camber arms and strutbraces

performance:

car has three inch exhaust off the dumps with varex cannon muffler (sounds mint)

apexi pod filters

eboost street boost controller dyno tuned for 9psi and 12 psi dyno sheets for proof 300hp at the rear wheels

engine completely stock otherwise

has a brand new exedy heavy duty button clutch less then a thousand ks on it

brakes:

car has dba race pads good once they warm up but squeak when u first start driving

other then that stock GTR calipers and Discs

Exterior:

car has N1 bodykit minus the rear and front lips

is currently sitting on R34 GTR vspec 2 rims with dunlop sport maxx tires with 80% tread left on all

3 out of 4 rims are immaculate not a scratch but the front left has small amount of gutter rash

front bar has paint scraped off on the left side from when i let the missus drive.....

and currently has a dent in the rear left quarter panel from some idiot reversing into me (but will be fixed before sale)

Interior:

interior is excellent no rips in any of the seats only two bubbles in the dash pretty spotless :)

thats all i can remember now lol

Price: price is 10k ono i have full set of R32 gtr rims which i can put back on and lower the price for potential buyers

    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
