it has power to the yellow and red wires all the time if its aftermarket head unit,

yellow is constant, red is switched accesory

or last case a bad drivers door power timer, which never shuts off the power(most are disconnected from compliance upon arrival but they do exist)

does the drivers window still work after thekey is removed and door opened and closed ?

The power windows dont work but the head unit remains on when the key is out of the ignition barrel

Sometimes it doesnt turn on when i connect the battery but remains on once I put the key in for the first time. Other times, once I connect the battery the head unit turns on

Could it be the relay switch is sticking? Is there a relay for the radio?

There are no cut wires behind the dash.

The ACC wire is connected into the large plug red wire

The 15A CONSTANT POWER is connected onto the large plug yellow wire

To prevent it from draining my battery ive pluged both wires from the head unit into the red wire. I just can't use any memory functions on the head unit like radio stations.

Could it be my head unit is damaged?

maybe try swapping the red and yellow wires around, as they might be doing the wrong thing, eg yellow being acc and red being constant. i know when i installed my headunit i accidently put these in wrong, and i couldnt save any settings or anything, although it didnt stay on like yours does
