hey guys getting my rb 26 built at moment in wa at crown engines with help from paul from red r racing

i was wondering what type of fuel pump should i use it has an aftermarket one in it now but am unsure of what it is ??

would i have to run surge tanks for 600 bhp or close too ??

and how do i go about setting that up , i plan to do some track use as well from time to time

for a street car a single nismo in-tank will support 600hp (enough fuel for 700cc injectors). You don't need a surge tank to make that power. however if you are going to take this car to the circuit a surge tank is a good idea. simply because it'll mean you can enjoy your car on the track right down to an empty tank. without one you will get fuel surge at anywhere from half tank to 1/4 tank. but if you are just going to the track for fun (ie not competitive) then the simply solution is just keep it over 1/2 tank for each session and you'll be fine.

if you do just get the nismo intank i'd also upgrade the wiring with a direct power feed from the battery (through a relay). tomei (and I think sard too) even sell kits to do it for about $100 if you are not electrically minded.

Hey Danny,

Did you manage to get a hold of Paul at all?

Cheers,

Lukas
