Fitted Led's To Tail Lights..now Weird Elec Problem?

hey all, just recently fitted led bulbs to my r33 gtst tail lights. They actually look quite nice...more of a vivid red colour and quicker response than standard bulbs. The problem I'm having is that when I push on my brakes the dash and parkers light up as well as the tail lights. I've read somewhere that fitting a 6A diode will rectify this problem. The thing is I don't know where or how to fit them lol I picked up 4 of the diodes yesterday as I didn't know how many I would need so it would be great if someone could help me out as I'm not really electricaly savvy. sounds like a grounding issue, its back feeding through somewhere else. check your wiring, if its all correct post back.

Make sure you haven't put a single contact bulb in a double contact holder???? I see this every day at work. Also you may need to put a resistor in parallel in the indicator circuit to stop it flashing fast.

nah it's the correct 'two prong' bulbs and i don't have any flashing issues as I only replaced the tail light bulbs not the indicators. and the wiring is definitly all good as it only happened when I put in the led bulbs. Thanks though guys.

swap back to the original bulbs and see if you still have the issue, if not then it could be a wiring issue with the bulb itself.
