Removing Side Indicators

Well did a quick search and all I could find were indicatiors for sale, but I would like to remove mine to do a bit of paintwork on the surround and then re-fit, wondering if anyone has done a howto or guide on doing this?

You gotta take the guard out from inside the wheel, then you can see the back of the indicator inside the panel.

Its fairly easy once you have a look at it

undo the bottom.. and pull the guard out slightly.. should be able to get a hand in and pop it out from behind. The other method is flathead from the outside, but if you're not careful may scratch the surrounding paintwork.

Yeah I didnt look very hard, but I did look, just knew there were helpful people like yourself that would be kind enough to point me in the right direction, then slap me down for not searching
