Taking The V To Perth

Hi guys im moving from melb to perth. Thinking of leaving here on the 3rd sept driving to port augusta day one. Border village day two. Esperance day three and spend a day there (its where i grew up) then to rockingham.

Anyone done the trip before, got any tips or done some other long distance trip in the V.

Get cruise control fitted if you don't have it

Hire/Borrow/buy a car-bra or stay a loooooong way back from road trains

I bought my V35 in Adelaide and drove it back to Perth with a mate over 3 days. Sharing the driving helped plenty, but if you're taking your time/seeingthe sights then thats not an issue. BP ultimate was easy to get. Take lots of snacks, take lots of music!

Excellent. Thanks guys. Not keen on aftermarket cruise controls so ill just have to suck it up. Looking for a car bra now great idea thanks. Anyone know where i can buy one for the V seems hard to track down.

The ipod will be stacked with tunes and movies for the trip for sure

Car bra's must be available as i've seen a couple of 35's with them. As to where to get them i'm not sure, maybe easier to get ex USA.
