Hey guys...

i've got an issue with my S2 R33 GTS-t...

managed to get a stuffed battery over the weekend so i went shopping and switched it out...

now that was no issue.. easy as pie and i'm pretty convinced she's running smoother than it has for a little while..

however, there is now a new issue that is a little concerning.. my airbag light in the dash is now blinking constantly..

i've tried searching the maintenance forums etc and haven't been able to find anything..

i was wondering if any one else has come across this issue and if they could tell me what needs to be done to rectify it..

just as a bit of further info, it wasn't flashing prior to the battery change.. and nothing got sparked or anything during the fitment of the new battery..

cheers guys...

well after some further research last night i found how to reset the airbags..

so now the annoying (and unsettling) blinking light is gone...

turns out that you have to turn the ignition on and press the drivers side interior light switch 7 times within 10 secs.. i found i had to do this twice and then it was gone..

thanks to you jimmy for your input as i'd forgotten to do that...

now to start dealing with all the other little things i need to get done..... lol.

changed out the battery....

i read in my further research that it is heard of happening when you disconnect the battery fully.. and mine was outta the car for about an hour by the time i pulled it apart, got the part number off it, and then walked to my nearest Auto Pro... fortunately for me i'm only about a 15 min walk to one...
