Alarms - Which Are Good And Bad. Tips?

Hey Guys

With all this current local theft, I thought it might be a good idea to see what kind of alarms people have out there and if anyone knows why one alarm is better than the other etc...

So if anyone knows any possible upgrades/ways to improve their current system, by all means, please share!

I have a Mongoose M80 - Which is basically 3 point immobiliser, siren, aussie standards cert (good for insurance)

Was around $500 installed from autobarn.

I was pretty worried about the car when I had to park it at the gold coast on Saturday night... Gold coast is scary shit with cars now!

3 point immobiliser, kill switches, good install, smart with where/when I park my car, club lock or similar (I know a couple of guys who remove their steering wheel) and full comprehensive insurance.

GPS trackers and microdot sprays would be great as well but damn if they aren't expensive services.

GPS tracking with online monitoring. one that does autogeofencing is a better way to go. proper install of the thing is a MUST! no point tossing it under a dash and expecting it to stay there when the car gets broekn into. most joy riders know to look there.

I wouldn't mind trying to 'steal' yours at some point. I know most of them I can get past fairly quickly if they are poorly installed.

How much would something like your GPS tracker cost + install with you guys? I'm assuming your business does them by the way you speak of it
