Have you got a pod filter installed? that will make your spool louder aswell as the low revs fluttering but, if you want the flutter louder again get a metal intake pipe and if you want Vl style tsuuuu tsuuuuuu tsuuuuuuu fully hectic brah flutters you need to block off your bov altogether.

You can pick up a lot of good basic mods cheap second hand btw. Other than that simple things like intercoolers, boost T's, pod's and exhausts can be had on ebay cheap new. People will tell you that "oh noes is not japanese it will break " Which is a crock of shit Ive used plenty of cheap basic parts and none of it has failed me yet nor had any side effects. Theres cheap parts you can buy new and then theres stuff you dont buy at all.

If you were I (CWHUTIDIDTHAR) my first line of mods would be:

  • pod/panel filter (Imo I prefer pod filters in a cold air box compared to panel filters in the stock airbox ) *You can make yourself a cold air box out of aluminium sheet pretty easy or steel if your on a budget.
  • exhaust
  • FMIC Intercooler 600x300x75 with 2.5 inch piping max for a standard rb25
  • Electronic boost controller or boost T + gauge (to wind the boost up a little)

That should get you started on the power train and not cost much if you dont go electronic boost controller

Go and do a skid now :P
