Shimming A Diff

hey guys wanting to shim my diff in my r33 how do i know what size shim i need to use want it to be very tight basically locked..

I went 2x 1.49mm shims (one on each side) and it was as tight as my two way for a couple of weeks but they wore in and now it's just like a normal LSD.

It won't ALWAYS be like a locker though, it will wear in to be like it was when it was new from the factory. If you want it to be like a locker either weld it, or save up for a 2-way

Yes, bigger the shim, the more pre-load, and the tighter the diff

also whats the best place to find a 2-way further down the track?

I bought my Nismo 2-way from nengun.com, other options are Justjap, Greenline, RHDJapan or a few of the traders on here sell them.
