Where To Measure To Work Out Turbo Size?

Hi guys,

I'm just wondering where I need to measure to work out if the turbos i'm looking at are 8cm or 10cm?

They are t517z and i'm trying to see if they're 8s or 10s.

cant you just work it out from the model plate on the turbo?

well googling #49378 and i came up with 10.5cm turbine...sound right

#49178 seem to be the smaller housings

lol yeah, the 8 and 10cm rear would measure the same... Remember they bolt up to GTR dumps?

Not like you can get an 8 or 10cm dump now is it.... lol

What 8 or 10cm refers to is the inner volume of the turbine housing.. Not something you can measure with a verneer caliper, hope you didnt but them for this. However it appears you have your answer above anyhow.
