Hey guys,

Looking to re-seal and possibly add some baffles to the sump in rb26 32gtr in the next couple of days as its got a slow leak. Being used to typical RWD layout and comparing to this engine it seem just about the whole bottom front half of the car has to be removed pinch.gif With alot of the stuff i'm trying to gett my head around.

Anyone have any tips for removal/reinstallation, as in any seal/fluids that will need to be replaced.

Cheers, Joe

my only tip is that it's really an engine out job. some people will say it can be done in car but it probably wouldn't be any easier than just removing the engine and doing it that way.

Can the sump be cut out with the k-frame still on, and welded back on (I think that's what the Trust sump extension does)?

not a good idea. how do you get to the inside? and how would you test it for leaks? how would you set the pick-up height? just do it properly.
