Considering A Felt-Like Covered Race Steering Wheel

Im just wondering, what are felt like steering wheels like on your hands? I mean that type of wheel which looks very race-oriented, which i believe has the felt (or similar) covering for grip, and probably meant to be used with gloves.

So, would this hurt my hands if i used it without gloves? or will it be fine?

Its fine to use without gloves, there covered in suede

yeah don't think the suede would chafe your hands or anything like that.

Suede wheel is lovely on the hands; very soft. Nice in summer, especially if you've got sweaty paws.

Had one for so long I actually wore holes through the leather. I miss it.

I hate the feel of suede wheels without gloves. Awesome with gloves, but without it's like wiping clean a chalky blackboard. Not nice. If it's a road car stick with leather.

Suede hates sweat too. Absorbs it and kills your wheel quickly.
