statue
Hey I searched the forum. Got some info.. but its all talk about blue ones. I read somewhere in the NSW RTA site that its legal to have only: White Lights on front Red Lights at back So.. Does this mean we can have Red LED/Neon under car lights at the back? and White LED/Neon under car lights at the front?
oweban
Nope nope nope nope. I saw an astina with a big row of LED's along the grill at the front; illegal. If the car comes with "daytime running lights" leds at the front, all good (as in from the factory) otherwise, nooooooooooooope

dont_ask
Neons are not illegal to install but, once you turn them on its illegal all together the only time you can have them on is at a show like auto salon and your car is not in motion. I installed in car neons for where my foot petals are for the fun of it. A cop pulled me over and said that to me even for in car neons. That rule applies to outside neon as well. So why waste time and money to get them installed. I installed mine because they were a present and I thought it would be funny to see a cops reaction. Yeah i "heard" they were legal if you're not driving. Not sure why you'd want them though, but each to his own.
