Changing 99 Model Front Grill For 98 Model Grill

Hi all, looking into purchasing a 2000 model Autech 260 but not the biggest fan of the two front grill lights they added to them and was just wondering if the lights are easily removable and whether a 98 model or older grill (withought lights) will fit straight in its place? as they seem to have the same shaped front.

im not 100% but i dont think the series 1 grill will fit as it wont be wide enough to fill the gap left by the removal of the series 2 grill. because the series 2 headlights are smaller than the series 1. my advice just buy a series 1 autech the diferences are minor and cosmetic

Well there goes that f#!king idea lol. Bronx... easier said than done when there's a 2000 model with 64000km for $17000 lol. And autech stageas aren't exactly common vehicles for sale let alone specifically series 1's but no rush
