R33 Wont Turnover

Well ive just changed the battery and replaced the alternator and it wont turn over like the battery is.flat....the ground lead on the battery is warm....when you turn the key to ACC nothing turns on eg. Radio...dash clocm....

have you checked all the fuses and relays?

Yeah none are blown. Just struggles to turn crank over...drains the volts down while i turn the key but when.it returns to ON.volts return...but engine doesnt fire

may be that the battery, while new, is a bit low on voltage. maybe try jump starting the car and run it for a bit and then turn it off and see how it starts.

No go..drove it for 20mins.....still the same

did it start easily when jump starting it? if it did then it may be that the new battery is shagged, or that it simply isn't a high enough CCA rated battery.

ask some one to tap the starter motor solenoid while u cranking. see any difference.

may be your starter is draw lot of current due to faulty starter solenoid. get a multimetre ,------ put in to voltage ----- probes on neg and pos------- ask someone to crank the car. while crank the car see the voltage. if it drops below 9.5v your battery is no good. if its ok,

if you can, just check the starter current drain while you cranking.

Yeap was the starter motor solenoid...a good love tap fixed it
