R32 Clutch Pedal Bracket Snapped

Hey guys, Im new to this so forgive me for the lack of experience.

I have recently snapped the bracket that mounts the clutch pedal to the firewall on my 32 gts4.

anyone know how to fix or can help me? will pay cash/beer to anyone who can fix it

LOL I saw this thread and instantly thought "I don't remember putting a thread about it in here..."

my post won't be all that much help to you since I've got R33 GTS-T, but exact same crap happened to me. Depending on where it's snapped, I'd recommend doing what I'll be doing this weekend and removing the bracket to have it welded up and reinforced where the break is.

Lol yeh apparently it's a pretty common problem.

I seen reinforced nismo ones on eBay but I think they re just normal ones with a few spot welds to make it stronger.

Either way mines beyond weldIng I reckon lol

Yep, I re-welded one the other day and it just snapped again, probably best to fabricate a 6mm alloy one if there is nothing else around. Where are you located?

Devo, Yeh the metal on the standard one is so thin it's ridiculous.

Mine is starting to crack too....just purchased a Nismo reinforced bracket from rhdjapan, more welds and thicker steel. Only 120 delivered so not too bad....being a mechanic I don't pay for labour in and out though....

mine didn't actually snap the metal itself, it broke on one of the welds from factory.

I'm gonna go all Frankenstein on it though and weld bits of scrap metal to it making it stronger.

Ahh k mine is cracking through the actual metal...not across or along any welds. Either way PITA job.
