Sumitomo or whatever it is is just what's printed on the standard gts-t calipers. Its what I have on my R33 and most I've seen.

I think some of the earlier r32 (and maybe some r33) have some brakes that are stamped with something else. I think they're pretty much the same though in terms of stopping force, etc.

Every R32 GTST with std brakes i have seen all have the same calipers you describe.

If the external appearance is smoother but still says Nissan on them then its possible he has R33 GTST calipers or R32 GTR calipers.

As for upgrading to R33 calipers i dont really see the point, rotors maybe but not caliper.

They have the same number of pistons and same piston diameters and still only accept the 30mm thick rotor. The R32 GTR brake caliper again is still 4-pot and has the same size piston diamter but can accept a 32mm thick rotor.

My R32 has the same brakes as urs too, its a 92 type m, brakes have heat sink things and sumitomo printed on them

A bit off topic but can you use r33 disks in an r32? I know they are slightly larger diameter, will they fit?
