yeah MG club has been trying to do this for about 9 years by my count (and that's only as long as I've heard about it).

I fking hate the way NSW is going now. no more warrick farm, catalina, amaroo, oran park (and others). all we have left is 1 fking track eastern creek and now they want to chop it's balls off and make it all lame just so they can rent it to multiple people at the same time and get more cash. I mean it was bad enough having just 1 track but at least it as a good one and fairly flowing. once it's knobled we have nothing left.... :(

having said all that these guys are serious and I hope they get it off the ground. :) shame it's about 3 hours north of sydney though... we need another couple of sydney tracks within 1.5hrs of sydney. you know, like oran park for example... :(

shame it's about 3 hours north of sydney though

I can get from North Sydney to Maitland in under 1.5hours doing the speed limmit and its only another 30mins onto of that. 2 hour drive to get a day on the track is great imo

its ok, Baron is a Sydney snob :D:P

good luclk getting a track in sydney - its going to be further out due to noise if we get one.

it takes me an hour and 10 door to door mine to EC, and 2hour 45 on a good day to wakefield.

would take me a bit longer to ringwood but its all freeway there! hardly any hills - good for towing!then stay in port stephens by beavh after race day = WIN!

Of all the tracks I've been on Wakefield was the biggest disapointment. Thankyou Lakeside :)

Lakeside is not just good though.......it's as Barney Stinson say's!

    • Thanks mate 👍 The car was brought into the UK by a USAF mechanic until he was stationed back to the US, one owner later I bought her back in 2009. Luckily the only corrosion was on the sill seams, so once taken back to metal and treated and sealed all ok, I then undersealed the car myself and check yearly and treat any corrosion which to be honest is zero. She's garaged most of the time and hardly ever driven in the rain, but as you say most are rotten unfortunately, I was lucky in finding her as she was and still is in excellent condition.
    • Stunning car.  Looks amazing!  You're in the UK?  How the hell do you stop your car rotting away beneath you?  British cars are the WORST I've ever seen in regards to rust.  Some of the cars SR Autobody have done are borderbeyond saving.
    • not a date code? or a foundry code?
    • I have up to date pics of the engine build and turbo conversion over on my instagram @skpro_jects if you want to take a deeper look.   Basically the exhaust manifold is straight bolt on and the ports match (they arent any smaller than a 25 or 26 head).    the intake ports are different shape so the 20/25det manifold will bolt up but wont match properly or seal. You will need to port match using the 25det gasket as a stencil. Personally i ran the entire stock 20neo intake setup and have configured the swirl valves and torque valve to work based on my custom parameters to help with off boost response and spool. But this is using a standalone aem v2 ecu. The stock 20det ecu wont be able to control them.
    • Hi. a little later but if the topic is here. So...the exhaust is the same and you can use 25/Turbo or any aftermarket? What about intake side? Is it too "plug n play" or? (i do not remember for 100% but i think that one intake to head gasket was little bit different than on the RB25 - i bought gasket kit way back) I know that even if it "plug" those butterfly swirls would cause ECU to be confused or?   Just asking for the info 🙂 and of course the RB25 things are easier to come by
