Boost issue

Hey i have a 93 r33 gtst. I have stock intercooler and bov etc. Was trying to increase the boost with my boost controller and something wierd has begun to happen, I have since turned it down and run 6psi, but it seemed to build upto 14psi boost then if i watched the boost gauge on full throttle the boost would go down to 0 and then back up again and there is a psshshht noise from the engine bay like the BOV is releasing the pressure>? Is the standard bov spring not able to hold the 14psi in the intake pipes? It really does sound to me like it was releasing the pressure out the BOV.

do a search, i dont think 14psi is safe, you'll get boost cut problems and surging (as far as i know), thats is if the the turbo doesn't do damage to itself. try running about 12psi max.

If u r running 14ps intake with stock cooler then ur turbo will be running at around 17psi or more cause of the pressure drop across the stock cooler. @ much more of this and say bye bye to yor exhaust wheel.
